Dotsisx over at Symbian Guru and Kirollos Fares at the Nseries Blog have both served up some options for Nseries users looking to reduce their carbon footprint.

Dotsisx presents the moCarbon screensavers, which use friendly characters to remind you when you need to charge and also to unplug your charger when it is not needed. Apparently they even get angry when you disobey their environmental advice! Kirollos meanwhile, has put together his own tips for saving battery life on your Nseries so you don’t need to charge as often, thus burning up less electricity.

Love / Hate relationship with the N95

Roland Tanglao has written on his blog about his love hate relationship with the N95.

As an owner of both the N95 and the iPhone, he sees value in both devices, though it is the N95 that he always has in his pocket. He loves using Shozu, which he can’t do on his iPhone, not to mention the openness of the S60 platform. But then he wants a bigger screen and ease of use he can find on the iPhone. Nonetheless, he says that it is the N95 he would shell out for, if he needed to pick up one device.

What are your thoughts? What are the killer features on the N95, and what does it need to improve? Jump over to leave your comments.

A couple of interesting offerings today from The Nokia Blog. One for the sportsman in you, and one to appeal to your artistic side!

One of the great things about the internet, is the way it links things together.

Only this morning, I was reading Mike’s quick look at the Dictionary 2.0 app over on The Nokia N82 Blog. He thinks it’s a nice application, and notes that while a dictionary isn’t a regular, must-use app, it can certainly be useful when you need it.

It was interesting therefore, to pop over to Howard Forums just moments ago, and be met by corny2007 asking whether anyone knew of a dictionary app for the N95 8GB.

If you’ve got any questions, get out there and explore the forums and see the communities that exist out there at work…

Using his experiences on The Urbanista Diaries, Devin Balentina of The Nokia Guide has reviewed how the Nokia SU-8W keyboard and BH-803 headset work for the world traveler when paired with the N82.

Devin splits the review down to consider ‘rugged build’, ease-of-use and power consumption (amongst others) in seeking whether these accessories really are suited to the globe-trotter, or are better left at home. His conclusion is that the SU-8W keyboard is a must-have travel companion giving you a full keyboard in a very compact and durable form. The BH-803 however, while a great product, is not so suited to trekking round the world, being a little stylish and fragile for the great outdoors. Though it is sure to wow in a more metropolitan setting.
